The fee for a standard 50-minute session is $235 ($93.15 out of pocket with a mental health care plan).

If you have a referral from your General Practitioner with a mental health care plan then you are able to access a Medicare rebate of $141.85 for up to 10 sessions within the year.

Fees may differ for alternative funding sources, this can be discussed prior to the initial appointment.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

DVA funding with a GP referral is accepted with no out of pocket expenses.

WorkCover QLD

WorkCover QLD referrals are accepted with no out of pocket expenses.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Next Chapter Psychology is not a registered NDIS provider but sessions are available for clients who have a plan managed or self managed NDIS plan. There are no out of pocket expenses for clients with NDIS funding.

Private Health Insurance

A number of private health insurance funds are accepted. Please check with your health fund to determine if you are covered for psychology.

Please be aware that a medicare rebate and a private health fund rebate can not be accessed for the same session.
